I managed to do a quick sketch and take a photo of this dear pony enjoying a moment of calm. I loved the dappled sunlight. So often I find another subject when I have set out to paint something completely different. Oil on board.

We spent a lovely day experimenting with acrylics and they all produced a painting of the English landscape to remind them of their visit.
